There is no kitchen on the premises of Pinellas Safe Harbor. Meals are pre-packaged and are placed in warmers at the shelter to facilitate the delivery of hot meals. Community groups and church groups are invited to prepare and deliver hot or cold meals to the shelter.

Shelter clients are in need of lightly used clothing and shoes that would be appropriate for daily wear and potential employment.

The Harbor is most in need of the following:

Men's clothing:

• Jeans – all sizes
• Work pants, khakis – all sizes
• Shirts – T-shirts, long sleeve cotton shirts, polo shirts with collars, flannel shirts
• Sweatshirts
• Sweaters
• Socks – all colors
• Shoes – primarily athletic shoes (sneakers) and work boots/shoes
• Belts – informal, casual belts for work pants and jeans

We are unable to use men’s suits, dress shirts, ties, dress shoes (oxfords, wingtips, loafers). Please donate these articles to one of the other deserving charities.

• Women’s jeans – all sizes
• Slacks – all colors, all sizes
• Shirts / blouses – all sizes, cotton or blend, casual
• Shoes – athletic shoes – sneakers, flat, low heeled shoes
• Belts – informal, casual belts
• Sweaters – all sizes
• Sweatshirts – all sizes

We cannot use "dressy" dresses, formals, high heeled shoes/sandals, silk items, used bras or other lingerie

Donations of new and unopened personal hygiene kits, laundry supplies, as well as unopened, packaged coffee, and snack foods will also be accepted.
